Day Labor Fútbol

For Day Labor Fútbol (2007), I reserved an indoor soccer field and hired a dozen undocumented workers to play a soccer match. A certified referee officiated the game. The exhibition features documentation and relics from the performance focusing on blurred notions of work and play, legal and illegal, while reflecting local race relations.
