Uniform Series

Uniform Series (2008) consists of sports uniforms made out of vinyl, acrylic and butyrate. For the photographs, actual athletes were hired to wear the created uniforms.

Uniform Series explores power, vulnerability, and their relation to group environments. By creating clear sports uniforms, these athletes have been stripped of their identification to a team. Uniformity is traded for individuality; simultaneously, the intimidating icon is rendered vulnerable.
